John has also been an Elder at Compass Community Church & on the board of the Orangeville Mayor's Prayer Breakfast. You can find them each year as major sponsors, fundraisers and volunteers at the Compass Run for Food, raising money for local food banks and school breakfast programs.

John and Carley have partnered with New Story to end global homelessness.
With each home that we help buy or sell, a portion of our commissions has been dedicated to help fund homes being built in countries like El Salvador, Mexico, Haiti, Bolivia and more.
The New Story organization works with local contractors and uses local materials to ensure the homes are ethically built and support the communities and economies that the homes are in throughout the entire process. New Story guarantees that 100% of donations from people like us will go towards building homes for those in need and they have other funding for administration costs.
